Norman Rockwell vintage book of photo postcards “Bicycle Tour of Stockbridge” First edition 1980 32 removable postcard Sepia Complete
$177.00
This is a “very good” staple bound board book with card stock perforated pages, each with 4 United States Postage acceptable postcards showing views in sepia of Mr. Rockwell’s Stockbridge Massachusetts, published in 1980.
First printing.
The book is intact, complete with all 32 cards present.
No writing. The first and last pages were beginning to separate along the spine edge perf due to the stiff stock and the movement of the book. The perfs of both have been reinforced with PH neutral, archival document repair tape (see images), which is intended for such purposes and will not harm the paper, nearly invisible.
Some surface rubbing on glossy board covers, front and back, some edge wear. No jams, tears or creasing.
A fairly scarce title these days – likely few were printed, and most of those were disassembled to use the cards.
Includes a map in the back cover that shows where each of the photographs was taken along the suggested bicycle route.

Will ship promptly, carefully packaged.

1939 New York World’s Fair vintage book “Your World of Tomorrow” Details the presentation of hoped for future displayed in the Perisphere
This is a "good +" item. The outer cover is not attached, and it appears that the upper staple is completely gone. The cover is split about 4" at the bottom at the fold and about 1 1/2" at the top. Aside from weakening at binding fold, the pages are not torn or folded. No writing. Covers have edge wear, lower front corner is dogged. Showing some wear, but is complete and still quite pleasing. Relatively scarce publication now. See accompanying images for full condition details. Will ship promptly, carefully packaged in a rigid container.

Sunny Memories of Ireland’s Killarney 1867 with 15 photographs including Ross Castle
9" tall, green cloth wrapped decorated boards, text block gilt all side, title page decoration embellished with gold lettering, photographs are actual photographic paper pasted to pages, not paginated. This is a "good" or better antique book with intact binding but weakened hinges. No loose or torn or folded pages. Some light foxing and spotting in places. I am not entirely sure, but the front free end paper looks to be adhered to the front paste down because the book opens immediately to the title page and what appears to be the paste down is of the same paper type as the other pages, yet looking at the back of the book, free end paper and the paste down are different color. The pages are lightly waved due to the photos being of a glossy paper and having been pasted to each page. The front cover cloth is a little lifted in some places and there is some spotting to the cloth (see accompanying images). The board corners are worn and show the underlying board. Overall, while not perfect, it is complete, the photos are rather stunning and it is a pleasing book. Of note: This printing has 15 photographs (see image of the table of contents), similar books typically have just 12. The images contained with accompanying descriptions on each following page: >> General View of the Lakes >> Ross Castle >> Lower Lake from Innisfallen >> O'Sullivan's Cascade >> Glena Bay >> Brickeen Bridge >> The Middle, or Torc Lake >> Muckross Abbey >> Torc Cascade >> Landing Place at Dinis Island >> The Old Weir Bridge >> Eagle's Nest Mountain >> The Upper Lake >> The Black Valley >> The Gap of Dunloe Will ship promptly, carefully packaged, insured.
