Stated first printing, first edition. Solid, tight text block, with intact hinges and gutters, closes crisply. Board corners are not bumped, head and tail of spine are. Some slight sunning along board edges and on spine, otherwise boards are uniform in color and free from spotting. Some light foxing on text block outer edge. X-mas gift inscription neatly penned on front free end paper, dated 1962, otherwise no writing. No loose torn or folded pages. Matching vintage dust wrapper is not price clipped, showing original retail price of $4.00 on front flap. Some tanning along edges, chipping and wear at head and tail of spine. Text block edges show some light use marks and dusting. Board corners lightly bumped. Original matching vintage dust wrapped shows wear at fold areas, with some chipping at flap fold corners, some losses near spine, upper and lower. No marks, no significant tears, not price clipped.
