First edition, second printing, being just 3 months after the first printing, as stated on the title page verso. This book is complete, and has a solid binding, with at least two pages disconnected: the frontispiece with its protector and page 169/170. As such, those pages' outer edges are chipped. The boards show a fair amount of edge wear, with all of the corners' wrapping paper worn through to the underlying boards. There is no writing, no folded pages, the text block closes tightly and is square. This book will need to be handled carefully as the pages are fairly brittle with age. One page has two crescent tears on the outer edge, where it appears that the pages may not have been fully separated originally, otherwise, no torn, loose or folded pages.
