This is a "very good" vintage hardcover in light green cloth-wrapped boards, decorated front board, published in 1961 by Knopf.
The binding is tight, not shook or split, text block closes square and tight. There is a book store "guarantee" slip affixed to the front free end paper, looks to be dated Feb - 5 1962 (?). A penned name on endpaper also. Some pencil underlining in various places throughout along with a few marginal annotations, none of which affect the readability of the book and are not significantly impacting presentation. Board corners are crisp all around. Boards and spine show some sunning. The matching vintage dust jacket is not price clipped showing original price of $4.50 inside front flap.
