This is a “very good” vintage children’s story book in navy blue paper wrapped boards published in 1980 by Mayflower Books, 39 pages, each opposing page being a full-page, full-color illustration by Mr. Crane.
First edition thus.
The binding and hinges are tight with no loose, torn, or folded pages. Aside from a humorous annotation neatly penned on the title page, no writing. The text block closes tightly, pages are bright. A little sunning to board edges and some mild edge wear.
The original vintage dust jacket has a fair amount of edge wear with creasing, losses and tears. Not price clipped. Uniform in color all around.

Edition/printing not noted, but if not first, early, because the prefatory letter in the front is dated April 1920 and the title page shows a print year of 1921.
