“Fantastic Stories of the Future: Science Fiction”
March 1939 issue, introduction by Hugo Gernsback himself (Godfather of the Hugo Award).
Binding is tight, no loose pages, no significant tears, not writing, tape or labels. Pages are fairly well tanned and brittle with age, outer edges of covers show chipping and have several closed tears along length. No predation. No signs of moisture damp exposure or mildew.
Cover colors are bright and even, not faded, same with advertisement for Kalamazoo on the back.
Shows some age, but overall, still a rather pleasing, 85 year-old science fiction time capsule!

Dell Map back “Ride the Pink Horse” 1946 First Dell printing Murder mystery Dorothy B. Hughes Vintage paperback
The binding is solid, not cracked or shook. The reason I have graded this as just "good plus" is that there is what appears to be some predation at the top of the spine. Otherwise complete and solid. Text block closes tightly, a hint of roll. Much of the glossy coating appears to have come off the covers. Original owner names penned inside front free endpaper, otherwise no writing, no torn pages. Super fun! This is one of Ms. Hughes best known of 14 crime noir novels, and it was made into a film by Robert Montgomery in 1947. Please see the images for full condition details.
