CONDITION: Very good -. No loose, torn or folded pages. Former library book – title page has a library punch and small stamp “withdrawn” and rear free end paper also stamped, otherwise no marks, nothing on the spine. Green cloth wrapped boards are relatively even in color, not tanned, bottom edges show some staining, perhaps from a library jacket (?) . Original dust wrapper is not price clipped, showing original publisher’s price of $2.75 inside front flap. Has some creasing and some losses at edges all around. Now protected in a removable archival sleeve.

The binding is solid, not cracked, complete and solid. Text block closes tightly, book slightly rolled. The glossy cover coating is starting to peel along the outer edge of the front, and less so on the back. Front cover has a diagonal crease running the length of the front cover, the back cover has a very light vertical crease. Top edge of the spine head is chipped off. A name is penciled inside on front free end paper, otherwise, no marks. No loose, torn or folded pages. Please see the images for complete condition details. Pages are fairly well tanned and brittle with age, outer edges of covers show chipping and have several closed tears along length. No predation. No signs of moisture damp exposure or mildew. Cover colors are bright and even, not faded, same with advertisement for Kalamazoo on the back. Shows some age, but overall, still a rather pleasing, 85 year-old science fiction time capsule!
