This is a “very good” or better vintage hardcover with a crisp, tight binding. No writing, no loose, torn or folded pages. Spine head and back cover board corners lightly bumped. Front gutter has a 1/2″ split at the bottom, otherwise solid front and back. Mustard paper wrapped boards are uniform in color all around, no marks. Matching original vintage dust jacket is not clipped, has a store price tag inside front upper flap. White background are mildly tanned along edges. Overall, super nice! The etching was done using a victrola needle. “Chase”, her second etching, was done in the same month. Eventually using diamond-pointed pencils, she went on to create over 250 etchings of dogs representing 26 breeds. Including private commissions, she did over 100 etchings of Scottish Terriers.
