Sherlock Holmes and the Golden Bird 1979 First edition vintage paperback
$12.00 Original price was: $12.00.$9.72Current price is: $9.72.
“Sherlock Holmes and the Golden Bird” by Frank Thomas, published by Pinnacle Books in 1979.
This is a “near fine” to “fine” vintage paperback with the only sign of wear being a faint crease on the front cover running parallel to the spine.
Amazing – I have seen books on Barnes and Nobles’ shelves which are not as nice as this.

Perry Mason Mystery “The Case of the Sulky Girl” Pocket Book 1941 paperback
This is a "good plus" or better vintage paperback. No writing, no loose, no torn or folded pages. The half-title page shows some light soiling. Text block closes tightly. A little light creasing on covers. Most of the glossy coating on the back cover is gone, and those areas show tanning. The remaining coating on spine and front cover is lifting on edges. Text block edges show some foxing. Great cover art! See accompanying images for full condition details. Will ship promptly, well packaged.

Dell Mapback “The Lady Is Afraid” c1943 George Harmon Coxe Gerald Gregg cover art
This is a "very good" vintage paperback from the desirable "mapback" series that Dell Books popularized in the Forties, published circa 1943.
George Harmon Coxe was a popular mystery author with an active career running from 1935 to 1975. Several of his works were adapted to radio and film.
The binding is solid, not cracked, not rolled, complete and solid. Text block closes tightly and is flat and square. The glossy cover coating is complete, front and back, corners front and back some slight chipping. Front covers mostly crease free, two slight horizontals, not color breaking, at out edge. Back cover is split at upper 1/3 along spine crease. Spine canted along length. No loose, torn or folded pages.
Please see the images for complete condition details.
Will ship promptly, carefully packaged.
