This is a “very good -” vintage hardcover with maroon paper wrapped boards and a cloth wrapped spine with cloth head band, published in 1949, 835 pages of Fitzgerald goodness.
The spine is weakened with a split between the second front free end paper and the title page – see images. There are no loose, torn or folded pages. No writing. The text block is square and closes tightly. There are a handful of the very upper corner page tips that have been inadvertently folded, but not where a reader has used that method to mark their spot throughout the book. The spine is tanned. Text block edges are all uniform in color.

Nice, rather early, somewhat scarce Fitzgerald anthology. Makes for a great gift!
