This is a “very good plus” vintage illustrated large-format children’s learning/story/history paperback by David Macaulay, published circa 1986 by Houghton Mifflin, cover price $9.95.
Tight vintage large-format paperback with a solid spine, not cracked or rolled. No discernable of signs of reading use. Neither front not back covers display any reading creases anywhere. Back cover has a few little surface dents from something being placed on top of the book (?). Upper back cover corner and a section of pages are mildly lifted, likely from being bumped against something else when being shelved or the like.
Really nice vintage printing of a classic Macaulay title!

First edition. Binding and gutters are intact, slightly weakened, but not cracked. Ex-libris stamps on front pastedown and free end paper, also owner scripted name, otherwise no marks.
