This is a “good plus” or better antique hardcover in pictorial cloth wrapped boards with black-and-white illustrated semi-glossy frontispiece published by Grosset & Dunlap in 1916.
First edition, identified by the copyright page lists and also series books lists in the back of the book.
Solid binding, no writing or marks aside from a name carefully penciled on the front free end paper.
No torn, folded or loose pages. Board corners are bumped, more so on the bottoms, some minimal wear to the cloth on the corner tips, not worn through. Spine head and tail bumped, but cloth is not frayed. The cloth wrapping is a little rippled on the front board above the title, and their is a triangular section on the upper portion of the back board where it is floating from the underlying board. Lower corner of back board has what looks to be remnants of the dust jacket adhered to it.
Not quite perfect, but still very pleasing copy of a rather scarce final title in this early Stratemeyer Syndicate series.

This is a "very good" vintage hardcover in blue cloth wrapped boards, published in 1938 by Henry Holt, containing four short children's stories, 45 pages.
First edition (as per McBride's identification guide, since no additional printings are indicated, it is a first as per Holt's practice for the time period).
Gutters and hinges are intact, not cracked. Aside from a neatly penned gift inscription, no writing. No loose, torn or folded pages. End papers are tanned, page edges just a hint so.
The original matching dust wrapper has losses at the edges of the front board and spine edges. Tanning and scuffs evident. Original publisher's price of $1.75 inside front flap. Flap fold corners are chipped, general edge wear overall. Now protected in a removable archival sleeve.

This is a "very good-" antique cloth wrapped hardcover with black-and-white illustrated glossy frontispiece and 3 more plates internally, published by Grosset & Dunlap circa 1924.
Solid binding, original owner name (Florence M. Tibbits) neatly quilled onto front free end-paper, otherwise no writing or marks aside, hinges and gutters crisp, intact. Rear cover spine joint has loss in the depression, see images.
No torn, folded or loose pages. Board corners are crisp, back upper has a few tiny chips in the cloth; cloth on tips barely worn, if at all. Spine head and tail bumped, but cloth is not frayed. All black and white illustrations are present. Text block edges mildly tanned, no spotting, block closes flat and square. Cloth wrapping color fairly uniform front, back and spine, no significant tanning or sunning.
Matching original dust wrapper has large losses at the spine head and across to upper back cover and tail. Wear at the flap folds and corners. Relatively uniform color all around, outer surfaces tanned, inner flap folds brighter. Not pristine, but front cover is still quite nice with lush, colorful, dramatic illustrations. Now protected in a removable archival sleeve.

It was Ford's first major film, in part because the hastily planned production went over budget, as Fox was making a hurried response to the success of another studio's western.
