* **Overall Grade:** Very Good (VG)
* **Cover & Spine:** Red cloth boards remain vibrant with crisp black stamped lettering and decorative publisher device to spine; softening to spine head and tail.  Front board has a small tear in the cloth wrap at the bottom edge near lower corner and is frayed at the corner.  Back board has a small chip in the cloth toward the bottom of the outer edge.
* **Dust Jacket:** None present.
* **Text Block & Pages:** Text block edges are lightly age-toned; neat early owner signature (“O. Allen”) to the front flyleaf; interior pages are clean, supple, and complete with faint, uniform age-toning, a few spots here or there on some pages.
* **Binding:** Solid, square, and tight; hinges are intact with no split endpapers.
