This is a vintage digest sized magazine in “very good” or better condition, published for October of 1971 by UPD Publishing.
First appearance of Harry Harrison’s “The Stainless Steel Rat Saves the World” which would be the first part of the book by the same name in 1972. That book was the third in the Stainless Steel Rate series featuring “Slippery Jim” or James Bolivar diGriz.
Spine is tight, not loose or cracked. No loose, torn or folded pages. Aside from an administrative date stamp on the top of the text block, no writing or marks.
