* **Edition Points:** Undated, 19th-century popular edition. 1870’s or 1880’s printing, it is not dated but there is a neatly scribed quill gift inscription on the front flyleaf dated Spring 1887.

#### **Condition Report**
* **Overall Grade:** Good+ (G+)
* **Cover & Spine:** Original cloth-bound boards show expected age with moderate edge wear; gilt illustrations of Shakespeare on front and back boards remain vibrant and attractive, as do the decorations on the spine.  All corners are bumped with cloth worn through.
* **Dust Jacket:** N/A
* **Text Block & Pages:** Block is tight, gilt on all sides, fairly well preserved.  Full page engravings with rice paper protectors present.  To accomodate the Bard’s entire  catalog in a single, semi-thin volume, the text is quite small.
* **Binding:** Volume is complete, but will need to be handled with care if it is going to be read.  The front hinge is cracked at top and bottom, but holding.  The rear hinge is cracked from the bottom up almost entire length of the book.  Internally the pages are pleasing, minimal if any foxing; some of the rice engraving covers might be creased due to it being so pliable, but the text pages are all sound, uncreased, not loose or torn.
