This is a “near fine” vintage hardcover in pictorial paper wrapped boards published in 2002 by Scholastic Press, unpaginated, profusely illustrated, semi-gloss heavy paper.
First edition. The story of Marian Anderson and her historic concert at Lincoln Memorial in 1939.
Solid binding, no loose, torn or folded pages. No writing, text block closes tightly. Board corners are crisp, not bumped. Color on boards uniform all around, not sunned or tanned.
Matching vintage wrapper is complete, not clipped. Very crisp, just the slightest hint of a little shelving wear along the edges. The surface on the back shows some light surface rubbing from shelving.

The "fuzz" on the cats and dogs is mostly complete, if somewhat compressed due to age. The fuzz has created "ghosts" on the opposite facing pages. The matching vintage dust wrapper is not clipped.
