This is a “very good” vintage cloth wrapped hardcover, 193 pages. First American edition, illustrated with line art. Aside from original owner’s name and address penned on front free end paper and family name on half title page, no writing, no loose, torn or folded page corners. The binding is intact and strong, not creased or cracked. Text block closes tightly and is square, shows some dusting along top, a spot and some foxing along outer and upper edge. Pages internally are bright. Matching vintage dust jacket is not clipped, showing publisher’s original price of $2.95 inside front flap. Spine is tanned, as is along upper edge. Some chipping at spine head and tail and flap fold corners. Front cover illustration still bright and pleasant. Please see accompanying images for more condition details. A Fuzzy Wuzzy Book “Miss Sniff” 1945 Illustrated children’s book with faux “fur” on the animals
First edition. Binding and gutters are tight, no loose, torn, or folded pages. Christmas 1946 gift inscription on front free end-paper, other wise no marks or writing. Pages are bright. The "fuzz" on the cats and dogs is mostly complete, if somewhat compressed due to age. The fuzz has created "ghosts" on the opposite facing pages. The matching vintage dust wrapper is not clipped. Shows some edge wear with a little chipping at flap corners, and a small loss at the spine head. A few surface scuffs on the back cover, but overall, a very pleasing, much better than average dust wrapper for a children's book of this vintage. See accompanying images for full condition details. Scarce title in with scarcer yet dust jacket. Will ship promptly, carefully packaged and insured.
