This is a “very good plus” or better vintage coffee table book in black cloth-wrapped boards. Extensively illustrated with color and black and white photographs. Text block is solid and tight, solid hinges, no writing or marks, no loose, torn or folded pages. The black boards are crisp and uniform, with crisp corners, a little wear in cloth surface on the bottom edges near the corners from shelving.
Matching vintage dust wrapper is not price clipped, showing original publisher’s price of $30 inside the front flap. Some edge wear around, 1/2″ tear at the back cover upper spine edge, otherwise intact. Colors uniform all around, not sunned or tanned.

The text block is square, closes tightly, uniform and bright all around, a tiny, faint hint of foxing at the top outer edge corner, first 3/4" down from top - you really have to look for it. The board corners are square and crisp, not worn. The original dust jacket is not clipped, showing the publisher's original price of $39 inside the front flap upper. A "near fine" or better copy, no signs of use. Obviously has spent its time within the accompanying slipcase. The gray board slipcase is intact, nor splits, all seams are good.
