The upper and outer text block edges have their gilt faded, likely from sun, the bottom edge is still mostly intact. Board corners are crisp, not bumped. Lettering and decoration on the spine is bright, not rubbed or faded. Lettering on the front board looks some what faded. Red cloth on boards shows some sunning and spotting, mildly curled from aging.
Not perfect, but still a very pretty volume, showing some signs of aging, but no real signs of handling.
