The binding is tight, not split or weak. No loose, torn or folded pages. Text block is square, closes tightly. Text block edges are bright, not thumbed. Board corners are crisp, not bumped, spine head and heal mildly bumped. Gold titling and decorations all around are bright, not rubbed. Red “leather” shows little to no signs of wear, very crisp and wonderful!

The matching DJ is not clipped, no tags, labels or marks. No tears. Very uniform in color all around, not tanned or sunned. Certainly a much better than typical jacket. Available with optional removable archival cover for the jacket.

Text block is square, closes tightly. Text block edges are bright, with upper edge tinted a bright tomato red, fairly uniform with just a few small specks. Upper front board corner is mildly bumped, the rest are crisp, not bumped. Small dent in surface of the lower spine by the publisher name along with a little rub spot. Some faint surface scuffs or spots, but overall the boards are clean and uniform.
