1943 Raymond Chandler “Farewell, My Lovely” Philip Marlowe First edition Chandler’s 2nd Philip Marlowe novel 1st time in paperback
First edition, first ever appearance in paperback form. This is a "good plus" paperback with a solid, albeit cocked spine. No loose, torn or folded pages. No writing. Back cover and lower spine have an approximate 2" split. Covers show a fair amount of creasing. Internally, pages are of quality paper - rather unusual for the period - and are nice and bright. See accompanying images for full condition details. Considered to be one of the "big four" novels of Mr. Chandler's writing career. Will ship promptly, carefully packaged and fully insured.

Thriller vintage paperback “The Shadow Man” [1966] The Night Walker is abroad again… Seemingly unread vintage paperback
Edition is not indicated. This book is "as new" having no signs it has ever been read. I have seen "new" books in Barnes and Nobles that are not as nice as this little gem! The only real flaw to call out is a light dent in the upper front cover spine corner. See accompanying images and video for full condition details. Will ship promptly, carefully packaged, insured.

Dell Map back “Ride the Pink Horse” 1946 First Dell printing Murder mystery Dorothy B. Hughes Vintage paperback
The binding is solid, not cracked or shook. The reason I have graded this as just "good plus" is that there is what appears to be some predation at the top of the spine. Otherwise complete and solid. Text block closes tightly, a hint of roll. Much of the glossy coating appears to have come off the covers. Original owner names penned inside front free endpaper, otherwise no writing, no torn pages. Super fun! This is one of Ms. Hughes best known of 14 crime noir novels, and it was made into a film by Robert Montgomery in 1947. Please see the images for full condition details. Ray Bradbury short story “Famous Fantastic Mysteries” Pulp fiction magazine October 1948
Includes a short story by a young Ray Bradbury: "The Women". Binding is tight, no loose, torn or folded pages, no writing or labels. Page edges are lightly tanned, but not terribly brittle; outer edges of covers show chipping, some losses and have several small closed tears around, no tape. No signs of moisture damp exposure or mildew. Cover art is bright and uniform, not faded, same with advertisement on the back. Has wear but text is complete, cover and inside art is pleasing, still charming. Please see accompanying images for full condition details and table of contents. Will ship promptly, carefully packaged so it arrives to you in the same condition as you view here.
