Raymond Chandler “Playback” Vintage hardcover novel c.1958
$16.00
This is a “very good” vintage hardcover published by Houghton Mifflin, circa 1958.
The binding is tight, not split or weak. No loose, torn or folded pages, with the exception of the inner rear free endpaper, which has the upper corner turned down accidentally. Text block is square, closes tightly. Text block edges are bright, with upper edge tinted a bright tomato red, fairly uniform with just a few small specks. Upper front board corner is mildly bumped, the rest are crisp, not bumped. Small dent in surface of the lower spine by the publisher name along with a little rub spot. Some faint surface scuffs or spots, but overall the boards are clean and uniform.
