The American Film Directors 1977 First edition Large format paperback photography book
$29.00 Original price was: $29.00.$23.78Current price is: $23.78.
This is a “very good” vintage paperback coffee-table format photography book, profusely illustrated with black and white “on location” photographic portraits of American cinema directors who were alive in 1977. Laid out primarily in a two page-per person format, each segment with the portrait on the right and their filmography to date of writing on the left, occasional additional “blurb” included. 177 pages.
First edition.
The binding is tight, not split or creased, square. Upper text block edge shows some slight tanning. Front and back board covers close flat, front lower and back upper corners mildly blunted, with back showing some light diagonal creasing. Some slight surface wear on glossy boards, but majority of coating complete and no significant creasing. No loose, torn or folded pages, no writing nor tags or labels. Certainly an above-average copy for such a large, heavy paperback of this vintage.
