Sign Image Symbol [1966] First edition Anthology of 20 essays on the history of human perception of symbols and images

$54.00

This is a “very good -” vintage hardcover in tan cloth wrapped boards, heavy mat paper, numerous black and white illustrations, published in 1966 by George Braziller of New York, 282 page including biographical notes on each included author.

First edition.

Binding is intact, albeit somewhat weak, hinges complete, not split. Text block closes tightly. No writing, no loose, torn or folded pages. Text block edges show some light use marks and dusting. Board corners lightly bumped.

Original matching vintage dust wrapped shows wear at fold areas, with some chipping at flap fold corners, some losses near spine, upper and lower. No marks, no significant tears, not price clipped. Now in a removable archival sleeve.

Interesting vintage academic work.

Will ship promptly, carefully packaged.
