The New York Public Library, in celebration of its 125th anniversary in 2020, published a list early in the year "125 Books We Love for Adults".
Of that list, there are 7 that it classifies as "science fiction"...
What do you think those titles are?
They appear on the Library's website as following (apparently in alpha order by title):
- Dune, by Frank Herbert
- Fahrenheit 451, by Ray Bradbury
- The Handmaid's Tale, by Margaret Atwood
- The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, by Douglas Adams
- The Left Hand of Darkness, by Ursula K. LeGuin
- Parable of the Sower, be Octavia E. Butler
- The Three-Body Problem, by Cixin Liu
What do you think?
Of the science fiction books published in the last 125 years (sorry Mr. Verne), which ones would be on your list if you had to limit it to seven?
